Seems like Fiberglass fenders would suck. They would brake instead of bending like metal. First time you hit a rock or a tree they would be toast.

they look bad *** on the Cherokees they race. I'm thinking if I get them Herculiner them n see if they would hold up n not bust as easy. I have bushwhackers now. n I'm not a fan of how cheesy they mount on the door. I've had both sides come off the door.

Fiberglass is actually very strong. There is a company that makes winch bumpers out of fiberglass, but I can't remember the name of the company at the moment. I'm sure someone here knows the name.

Mud tires love to throw rocks too! They'd be sweet while they lasted! You can bet those fiberglass winch bumper have steel core for strength.at very least in mounting area. I had harwood outlaw cowl hood that had steel inlayed in the hinge area. They'd be no match for a tree or rock just like you stock steel fenders. I flare my cut fenders out myself. Use fender flare as cut template. Then I yank on the edge around the top half. They'll pull out 2" or so for a homemade pre-runner look.
