i have heard absolutly no good things about rugged ridge.
this is a great deal.... $199 with rear d-shaft. http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch...tegory_Code=UP
i only have run advanced adapters and rubicons sye's, but the iron rock seems pretty stout

Excellent product. I have it and you can tell it is way stronger than the stock output shaft. A much better option than hack n tap in my opinion and great price.

I was looking at the same thing yesterday. And i have a 3" budget lift. I was on the phone with a Amanda from Team warngler.com her Internet price was $169 but she said she could do better than if you got a drive shaft too. I'm thinking about just using the front DS from a xj at the junk yard. What do you guys think???

Yes. vibes were very noticeable for my 99 w/ 2". T-case drop relieved them ,but created the ocassional exhaust rattle. I want to go the correct way and do sye & d/s. My question is will 1997--01 front shaft drop in the rear w/ no problems?

Yes it will... but you will probably have to rebuild it if you get one from a jy...new u-joints ~$40, possibly new centering ball (but not absolutely necessary) ~$50 and have it balanced ~$10, so if you get the shaft for $20, you are $70-120 in the hole and those prices I gave are just for the cheapest options. Just stuff to think about.

id stick with the t-case drop unless you plan on going higher...kind of a waste of money at 2'' IMO
