Has anyone used this kit before? I have the np242 and they claim it works with it, if so it's by far the cheapest one I've found for that xfer case. I would like to go just a hair bigger and get rid of my xfer case drop, but I'd like some input on this kit before I do it.
I believe the RE kit comes with the drill bits and taps, so if you don't already have those it might even out.
FWIW, invest in a GOOD tap if you choose to go this route, and make good and sure you go slow when doing the actual tapping. Shearing a hardened tap off in a case hardened output shaft is not gonna be a fun time, take it from me haha.
I all so have the Iron Rock SYE . I like it because it uses a front drive shaft in the rear , so if you need a spare drive shaft you only need one . and they are cheap at the pick and pull .
