Default Rubicon express hd leafs

Alright so I got my lift installed. I have 6.5 inch Bds coils in front and 5.5 inch re hd leafs with a little over an inch boomerang shackles and this is how it's sitting.

This is exactly how it sits because I got the tires on. In this pic, it's supported by the axle. It's literally a 2 inch or so difference.

Front center of cap to bottom flair:24 inches
Rear :26 inches

Will this settle by itself ?

Over time. But the RE springs always sit an inch or so higher than advertised. So your 5.5 leafs are about 6.5 inches.

I heard that RE lifts give more lift than their rated but I didn't expect so much. Would a rear bumper tire carrier sag it a bit ?

Make sure your shackle bolts are loose when you but the wheels on and lower the rig.

You need to put some weight on the rear end prior to tightening the bolts.

I didn't tighten them till after I lowered it. I think I may just wait a few weeks and see what happens

this imo. if its still too far off i'd do a 1" or 1.5" spacer up front.

I've looked into it and it's only like 40 bucks for spacers.

Would re 4.5 superflex leaves with their boomerang shackle bring it down to around. 6.5 inches?

Since you tightened the shackle bolts with the vehicle weight on the springs, then just drive the vehicle for a while.... The suspension will probably settle 1/4-1/2".
If you are planning the install an aftermarket front or rear bumper, the added weight of either bumper will decrease the amount of lift at that end by another 1/4-1/2".

I figured as much but the a nice bumper with a tire rack is like a grand new. I don't think my dream of getting one is going to come true. Im swapping out the leafs for inch shorter ones

dont know if youve corrected the problem yet but i have the same problem on my 3.5" re lift. i just ordered a shackle relocation bracket from hdoffroadengineering. once it arrives ill know if it fixes the problem but this should help. it will still add about an extra inch but would be a lot easier to level the front end then.
