Default Rubicon express Bushings for Leaf Springs

I have searched around a lot and seem to get mixed answers about RE leaf spring bushings sizes. Some people say the stock xj bushings will work on the leafs, but most, including rubicon express say they have their own sized leaf spring bushings.

Has anyone replaced theirs recently? I need to know the bushing size and the best place to buy them since rubicon express is closed and local 4x4 shops are not too helpful.

Anyone know the size of the stock leaf bushings?

The main eye of the spring has a 2" ID. The shackle end of the spring has a 1.5" ID. YJ wranglers also have a 1.5" ID when you buy bushings for "aftermarket" springs from companies like Energy or Daystar. Rubicon Express should be open Aug 1st.

The correct RE bushing "kit" for the XJ springs is RE1495. There are enough bushings in the box for both springs.

Call Rubicon.

They are answering the phones and should start shipping product August 1st.

Also - call 4 Wheel Parts. They have some RE stuff in stock still. Most is the replacement stuff like what you are looking for.

4 Wheel Parts should have those bushings (RE1495) by Monday. They are leaving RE's warehouse today or Friday.

yea I went with the napa ones due to being cheaper and I have heard lots of bad things about rubicon express bushings anyways. Heck the rubicon express bushings went bad on my leafs in only 6 months and my control arm bushings went bad a couple weeks ago. They have changed manufacturers like 10 times and I don't want to gamble that 4wheelparts is going to make them any better now that they own rubicon express.

To replace the bushings in the rear of the leaf spring, what is the best or easiest way to do this?
