Default Rubicon Express 1600 Track Bar with Budget boost

I know its not normally required, but I saw one on Craigslist. Would the 1600 track bar listed for 2.5" - 5.5" of lift not work if I only have the 2" spacer now? thanks

It might, but you would be cutting it close. Is there something wrong with your factory one, because for 2" of lift the factory one should be fine.

Well stock prob needs to be replaced and I was thinking for the future if I go higher also. It's $75 which is 1/2 of new cost. I figured it was over kill at 2" if it was even possible

Well $75 is pretty cheap and if you plan on going bigger later I would buy it and if it fits use it now and if it doesn't thats just one less thing you have to get when you upgrade to a bigger lift.

Sorry to say but the RE1600 will not work at only 2" of lift. It will hit the diff cover and it will be to long. 3-3.5" is as low as you can go with that bar.

And it may have possibly needed a new heim Joint.. which woulda been another 30 bucks. so you woulda had 100 in it.. and not knowing the abuse on the bar itself...

But really I would just buy a stock one if it needs replaced. Unless you are lifting higher soon.. just wait it out and get one then. but still even at 3 you can use a stock one without issue.
