rubbing problem

Default rubbing problem

my jeep has 31 but it rubes when i go offroad.it has a 3in body lift so i was wondering if i cut my fenders will it help the from rubbing.

I ment pics of the lift because you cannot put a body lift on a unitbody vehicle because there is no frame.

Yea he doesn't know what he's talking about. Bet u it's a budget lift. And no it will. Not help because the tires won't just rub on the fenders. Actually my jeep has 3inch lift and 31s and I don't rub on my fenders. It's the control arms u need to worry about

ok so how do i fix that prob and so cutting the fenders wont help

wheel spacers, spidertrax wheel spacers, fixed the control arm problem i had, rubbed like crazy on turns, added some 1.25" wheel spacers, they havent rubbed sence

You're running aftermarket wheels so you shouldn't have the control arm problems. It looks like your lift is closer to 2" than 3" and you're hitting the flares and/or inner fender wells. Both can be removed or you could lift it a little more and not mess up the rather nice looking flares.

Yeah deffently looks like 2" and not 3". I would say do some research on the different suspension setups and figure out what you have. Who knows the condition of what is under you jeep. Remember you're trusting your life to it. My guess is spacers on the front coils and either shackles or blocks in the rear.

Where are they rubbing? If its the fender than yes cutting the fenders will help with the rubbing.
