Rough Country - BDS - Rubicon Express - Which one??
Hello,
Right now I have a Rough Country 3" lift on 31's on my 2000 Sport. I am wanting to upgrade to either a 5.5" or 6.5" long-arm kit.
I am torn between going with either RC, BDS or RE... Can anyone shed some light (pros & cons) on either kit?
Rough Country 6.5" Long-Arm Kit
BDS 6.5" Long-Arm Kit
Rubicon Express 5.5" Long-Arm Kit
Thanks

rough country is the lowest end of the 3. but its not as expensive as bds or rubicon express. i guess it all comes down to how deep your pockets are and how far your willing to reach into them.

it's still going to be a little while longer (I think August) until
if you are on tight budget... I would say Rough Country
but lately I have found BDS to be a very good deal... my buddy has one on his XJ and I am impressed... they are incredible lift kits for the money
I know Gee Oh Dee will Chime in and sing the praise of BDS...

I myself personally would go with RC out of the choices you listed... But have you looked at or considered the 6.5" LA kit from IRO?? I have seen this kit perform out on the trails, as well as gotten to drive it on the road and loved the performance of it, and I will be looking at picking up the IRO kit myself when I get the money to upgrade my lift setup. Just another option to take a look at.

I would do BDS all the way. Lifetime warranty on the parts and the company is great to work with if you have any questions or needs. Also the ride on the BDS will be better than the RC. If I was going to spend the money to do that big of a lift with the long arm I would go the extra mile and get a good one not the cheapest.

Still nothing from the great moderator GeeohDee. Surprising. I have seen his and am very surprised myself of how much abuse he puts it through and the amount of flex he gets from it
