Rough country 3" suspension with 1.5" blocks?

Rough country 3" suspension with 1.5" blocks?
I'm wondering what I would have to do to get my jeep a little bigger. Right now I have a rough country 3inch. I want to make it either 4.5" or 5" with blocks and spacers. Any info would help. Thanks.

axle wrap. if you're not putting a lot of strain on your drivetrain you shouldn't have a problem (aka just driving around in the dirt and you're light on the throttle)
just get some shackles and spacers or blocks or whatever. all you're doing is making your rough country lift ride rougher

Also keep in mind that going up that high without doing it properly will open a whole can of worms for you. You will probably (if you don't already have) need an SYE, new driveshafts, breaklines, adjustable control arms etc. You can only go so high on short arms before it really rides rough and long arms become much more desirable.

would you even notice an extra inch? (insert joke here)
just leave it the way it is. if you're bored just trim your fenders. it's free and it will give the appearance of adding a 2" lift

If you want to go higher, just realize its going to cost a bit more $$. Save up and buy a kit- Throw blocks on there and you will be buying new leaf springs etc. shortly anyways.

Alright. You guys talked me out of it haha. Don't wanna be breaking and wearing things out any faster then they already do. Anyone know a good write up on trimming fenders? I've wanted to but I wanna make sure I do it right and don't mess it up.
