So thinking of putting in Harland Sharp roller rockers. As I hear they do rub just stock, was thinking a 1/4" Valve cover spacer should raise it high enough to clear. Have seen 1/2" valve cover spacers have yet to look for 1/4" ones
The ones for the 4.0 were redesigned somewhat recently to have a slightly lower profile. I just put a set in a few months ago and have no clearance issues. Mine are on the left; you can see where they moved the apex of the rocker from the left side of the pin to the center of it. The tips are also more rounded now instead of straight.
