Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I guess I don''t know if it would be worth my time when there's so much rust that is surfacing and I can buy new rockers for $20 each. Once it warms up I'll try grinding some of it off to get a look underneath and make my decision then.

Weld some 2x6's in there and turn your rockers into rock sliders

For anyone who wanted to see pics, these are 2x6 .250 wall and spray on bedliner. I'm pretty happy with the results. My only complaint is that my local steel shop didn't have 3/16" wall tube. The 1/4" is super heavy so ill probably tie them to the unibody rails.
