Rocky Road Outfitters?
You know, RRO markets themselves as being a low-price alternative and they do a reasonable job at living up to that marketing. I ordered a pair of adjustable LCAs and an adjustable track bar. Order to delivery took 11 days which is kind of long but not horrible. It could have been much faster but RRO didn't ship the order for a week. Total price, including shipping and "insurance" was $300.90.
The LCAs look great, other than a big gouge in the powder coating on one that was clearly there before being shipped. The track bar looks fine but the MasterPro TRE they sent (still in the box) will be replaced with something better. Oddly, they sent me a sealed bag with (2) 5" 1/2-13 Grade 8 bolts, (4) 1/2" washers, and (2) 1/2-20 Nylock nuts. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing with those? There are only enough for half of the LCAs and the nuts are a different thread than the bolts.
I'm going to call their customer service, just for fun. I doubt anything will be accomplished but I'm curious to see if my experience is similar to the others who have posted here. I'll let ya know...
5 minutes later: I tried the chat thing on their web page but got no response so I called. Jared answered within 3 rings. I asked him about the nuts and bolts and he told me that they expect their customers to reuse their existing mounting hardware but just recently started including the bag of 2 nuts and 2 bolts (and washers) because several people had reported breaking or stripping their existing hardware so they wanted them to have a couple spares, just in case. He was surprised to hear that the bolts and nuts were different threads. He apologized and said he would check the bags they had on the shelf to find out what was going on.
I consider that to be reasonable customer service.

I had the same problem with nuts not right for supplied bolts. or any other bolts I may have had to take off. I also got told when I questioned it that "All the stuff on their shelf is correct" So f'n what. Mine wasn't. And don't get me started on the machine work (NOT) done on their control arm drop system.

I'm glad you chimed in about the RRO 3" lift kits as they are appealing to one who is on a budget and still wants quality parts. Although I was also wondering how they acquired 3" OME springs. I haven't personally dealt with them so I will not comment on their customer service either way, but I do disagree with a couple of things in their write ups. The first is that they feel the use of bump stops as being "100% unecessary"..... Really?!?
And their views on about aal kits killing the ride quality, changing the shackle angle, and being short lived. I'll agree that they (aal) are a quick fix for your ride, but I installed a full length aal from rustys with very good results. The height was still at it's original spot after 8 mos., articulation was nice (for leafs), and it wasn't rough at all! In fact, I'll be installing that same kit on my latest Jeep to get me wheelin' until I can save up for full spring packs and shocks.
I try to keep an open mind, but some things just don't jive. I've heard good things about DPE, and have had good luck with Rusty's. I will probably utilize those two for future purchases. Although, I've heard that JCR may be picking up a quality suspension line ..... that would be sweet for us Michigan folk!

Rocky Road Outfitters (RRO) sold me the wrong shocks which do not even
fit
their bar pin eliminators(BPE). RRO made it prohibitively expensive for
me
to attempt to return the shocks.
By telephone, I ordered Bar Pin Eliminators (BPE) and a pair of front
shocks
(Brand: Old Man Emu (OME)) from Rocky Road Outfitters (RRO). In the
phone
call, I asked the salesperson, Matt, several times to verify that the
shocks
had eyes on the bottom to bolt to the BPE's. RRO said the shocks had the
eyes on the bottom to bolt to the BPE's, both of which they were selling
to
me. The salesperson put me on hole for a few minutes, while he checked
the
stock room to verify that the shocks were in-stock. He said the shocks
were
in stock.
Soon after I received the box containing the BPE's and the pair of front
shocks, I examined the shocks to find out that the shocks did not have
the
eyes at the bottom. I immediately called RRO, to tell that they sent me
the
wrong shocks which did not directly bolt to the BPE's. The salesperson
attempted to place the blame on ARB and me. The salesperson lied and
said
that I called him asking for a specific part #. (Not true. When I
called
and placed the order, I only had an idea of a few older part numbers of
some
shocks that were used on various other Jeeps.)
RRO refused to take any responsibility for their mistake. Moreover, RRO
made
it prohibitively expensive for me to return the shocks. RRO said I had
to
pay the return shipping nor would I be refunded any of my original
shipping
costs. (RRO said they "Would waive the 15% restocking fee" That is no
skin
off their back.)
A customer can not depend on RRO to suggest or sell the correct parts.
RRO
does not add any value to Old Man Emu products. You might as well
purchase
directly from ARB, off Amazon.com, or someone else. I will never again
do
business with RRO.
