I put a down payment on front & rear bumper, as well as sliders, a year ago. There was a 4 month wait, he called me up when it was time and said my order was next. Couple weeks later I get a call saying he was suspending all orders for a while (he said possible for good) for health reasons and was refunding all money from people that sent in down payments.

That's why I went with AJ's stuff.

Really? I called Terry up about a year ago on a quote for the sliders and he was very responsive and great. Work on my end slowed to a halt so I couldn't send him any money and no sliders were made for me, but i was looking forward to calling him once I got my tax return soon. I hope he's better and back to business.

I just installed JCR Offroad sliders on mine. Went with unfinished to save $$ and will paint myself. $369 shipped. Easy install and saved my bacon at Calico at least twice on their first time out. Already paid for themselves as far as I'm concerned. Took 1 week to get them.

I'm still saying Detours - You get a stiffeners AND sliders built into one. I have abused mine HARD and have only managed to scuff the paint a little.

They look great, but they hang low.

Mine were s set from the maker of my swing-out rear tire carrier bumper they were powder coated and had stiffeners. They look very much like the Detours ones but I paid $200 shipped for mine, shame he is not making either of these at this time both are great products.
