I ran them on mine for a few mos, and they never did any of the negatives I've read on here. Only reason I sold them was to get lift shackles. I wish I would've kept them.
They gave me a lot more droop. I only paid $75 used for them, but prob won't pay $200 new for them.
If you're going to spend the coin on a new set of revolvers, I'd rather get the relocation brackets. More droop and better ride. The xj shackle angle is terrible.

Sounds like a lot of people who have never run them, lol. On the street they suck ***. On a trail rig they are amazing depending on your wheeling environment. If you have lots of really big boulder drops and stuff, they are worth their weight in gold. When your front is flexed out the rear starts to lift thus removing a tire from the ground. That is bad for obvious reasons. If you have revolvers the revolver open's up to let that tire maintain contact with the ground. As far as them opening up on a downhill I have never experienced any thing like that and there is a lot of incline rides where I go. One thing to watch out for is on a add a leaf or worn spring pack the leafs will try to separate from the twisting when one side drops and the other doesn't. I have never experienced any negatives with mine other than slopy ride on street, I have only driven it on road about 3 times. No bushings in the front, no sway bar, etc.. not a great ride anyways but I am pretty sure some of I was from back there.

so i want to know how many people on here talking crap about them have actually ran revolver shackles and arent just jumping on the band wagon because of what they hear around while web wheeling?
edit: that looked like axle wrap that youd have with any leaf that long and possibly worn out

longer shackles and boomerangs on stock shackle location do nothing to improve flex ...now relocating that box and setting up a really long shackle at right angle does.

and no the revolvers arent the culprit of spring wrap, anything with a leaf spring in existence has some amount of wrap. and my revolvers arent very long and dont hang up on rocks like your long shackles do, try doing that with your long shackles

they are good, but i wouldnt pay 200 for them new, id rather fab up something and move the shackles if i planned on keeping the shackles. i just had to jump in because of people who are talking out their @$$es .
i am selling mine but that is because i wont need them when my jeep runs again as ill have coils in the rear

if have fab skills fab some better shackles, if you dont or your just lazy, run a set of these, and im sure they would be fine with sway bars too. i never ran sway bars with mine on the street and was comfortable at highway speeds
