retreads
Paid about $400 for the four tires shipped to my door and another $20 to mount and balance. Tell me where you can find a tire that performs like a real MT/R for under $400?

A lot of people say that they wont run them because they dont feel like having a cap come of going down the highway and wreck, but the treadwright shop is in the town i live in so many people around here run them all the time on every vehicle they have and swear by them, and not have any problems at all with them, including myself i've ran 35's on my f150 for hundreds of miles down the highway and quite a bit off road and never feared ounce they where gonna fail me. And might i say get around dang good in snow. My family has also ran them for many years, before they where really a popular thing and never had any problem with them, and i also did searching on the internet for opinions on them and i have never heard one bad thing about them from people who have, or are running them. So coming from me save some money and GO FOR IT

i have no proof but i was told by a inspector in missouri that retreads were illegal in 48 states except for large trucks. i have a set on one of my 90s and have never had an issue. i wish i could still get some in 33 or 35s they only have 31. they look tough!

As far as caps separating I don't see how they would be any more likely than a virgin tire. When a tire is made they make the carcass and then add a tread to it. Treadwright takes a used carcass and adds tread after grind the old off. If any thing a sidewall would be more likely to separate or blow out being used and flexed more, even that is pretty unlikely IMHO.

Not really. Price some bfg at's and some treadwrights and there is a HUGE difference. I have the mtr and bfg look-a-likes. Great tires! Do some research and you'll find hardly if at all any complaints.
