anyways to help you with the stuck bolts. are you trying to do fronts and rears or just fronts? idk if you have a 2 door or a 4 door. but for the fronts, you know those two little wholes on the body side of the hinge? you can take off your inner wheel well covering and with a long 3/8 extension reach to the bolts through the two little holes. you door has to be closed for this to work. and your ratchet should be able to fit for the 3rd one with the door open.

all that aside i can get all the bolts out except the top back one because gong through the wheel well the is an outcrop or metal that is in the way does anyone know how i could get this bolt unbolted

it is a 4 door and i am working on the front doors and i can get al of them out except that one

you could try to get your torx head in there and if possible wedge it in there with a blow of a hammer or sqeeze it in with a crow bar or something and try to just use a 1/4 wrench instead of trying to use the ratchet???? also before you take the hinges off make sure you trace the hing on the door with a sharpie so you know kinda where it goes back on. makes realigning so much easier

i did pull the fender liners out to get the other three back bolts out but i just cant fit the extention in the top on straight to get on the bolt.

can anyone tell me staight up from start to finsh how they did it even if they did it a different way

1. i opened the door and sprayed a whole can of pb on there... waited for a bit. traced the hinges and then took the hinges off with a small (skinny) ratchet. cut the flanges so the pins would go back on smooth with out having to preform some crazy trapeze move. lined up the hinges with the lines i drew earlier and bolted them back up and slid them back in their spot

Dead wrong? I have personally experienced stress lines turning into cracks from running doorless. As well as personal experience, I've read much more supporting information on the hatch and doors providing support than not. I was simply letting the op know one of the consequences of going doorless. I didn't say his jeep would fold in half if he went doorless. Just making him aware that over time it could cause some damage. Get your **** right before you call somebody out next time.

Do us all a favor. Jump into your jeep with your know it all attitude and go flex your jeep somewhere. Try to open your doors or hatch. Then eat your words.

I wouldn't post something to help another member if I didn't have personal experience and know for sure that it's accurate information.

Thank you for the imput I was a little iffy to take my doors of to begin with wether it will effect the structure of the car or not im not going to do it. thank you for all the imput from everyone.
