Question Remote Start

Hey Fellow Jeep Dudes.. Hope you might be able to help me with my remote start. I have it installed in my old 1998 Cherokee Sport And want to remove the system and install it in my 1988 Cherokee Pioneer. The system is a Code Alarm ca6151. If anyone has installed or removed one please let me know. The previous owner installed it and i'm just wanting to remove it without too much trouble. Looking to find out where he may have placed the control unit etc.. Any help or ideas would be great. Thanks guys

9 times out of 10 the control unit will be under the dash on the drivers side. Pull the trim under the steering wheel and the metal plate behind it. Most of the wires you need for a remote start system are on the column.

Should be pretty obvious when you see it.

When you pull it out, make sure you reconnect any factory wiring that was cut when it was installed.
