Relocated intake air temp switch
Has anybody relocated the intake air temp switch to the air box on there xj. Just curious what effects you have seen. Thinking about doing that to my 01. Thanks

I've done tons of them.
I don't move it any time. And, I live where it can be 100* to 0*, and it's a sensor not a switch FWIW.

Thanks for the replys. So what does a person gain by moving the sensor? I am guessing you gain horse power because the sensor says the air is cooler. Do you gain or loose horsepower with this? Also has anyone put a resistor across this sensor to gain mileage?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Don't do a resistor. You'll get codes flashing.
