I have a 2.5L with the stock 4.10's and I'm putting some 265/75/16's on. Will I need to regear or will it be ok? I haven't been able to find much about regearing with my 4 cylinder.

A 4.0 swap may not be cost effective unless you have extensive modifications into the jeep, i.e. caged, upgraded axles, coilovers. A swap may cost as much or more than a decent XJ with a 4.0 and AX15.
You'll basically need a whole jeep as a donor. Radiator, computer, and wiring are just the tip of the iceberg. You may as well bump up to a smallblock V8. The GM 5.3L would be my personal choice

You could get a running drive train and all the junk you need from a donor Jeep for pretty cheap... If you are running CO's on a 4cyl, you're and idiot anyway.
If you go ahead and swap a V8 in, go with a newer 5.3 with the Vortec heads with EFI. Running a carb in an offroad rig that sees steep climbing and off camber situations is also stupid.
