Question for you exhaust experts. Back in the day, lol, it was always said that each pipe, muffler, etc should go into the next downstream component, never over. This was to help prevent leaks.
I just received my new muffler and it slips over the tailpipe, not into the tailpipe.
Okay to proceed with clamping or is a shop with welding capability in my near future?
