I have both of the HF guns and they work great, especially considering you can pick up a syphon feed and a gravity feed gun for under $40. The HF bag filters for them are garbage though.
They're definitely good for more than one use as well. Just wash the can out as best as you can when you're done then fill it with paint thinner and spray it through when you're done. Then take the can off, tilt the gun upside down and spray it til it's spraying air. Take the time to clean it right when it's done and you'll get more than one use out of it.
Pick up a decent regulator from Lowes though.

Ok so after checking out the site & doing some more research, buying a spray gun is definately worth the $30-$40 buck investment.
Now my only question is; "do i shoot Chassis Saver straight out of the can, or do i thin it out with the S8 reducer & how do i go about measuring how much to use??"

Also sorry that some questions i ask seem easy to answer & are probably listed on the can itself, but the can is 45 min away at my moms house where the jeep is & sometimes i gotta do my research here, go buy what im lookin for, then go there to do the work on the jeep.

Most siphon feed guns hold about a quart. Paint thinning is not a universal formula. Different paints require more or less thinner depending on viscosity. According to their website:
SPRAY APPLICATION: All other coatings, lacquer thinner
or alcohol containing solvents must be thoroughly flushed
from spray guns and hoses prior to spray application of
Chassis Saver. A final flush using Magnet S8 Reducer or
xylene helps avoid unexpected results. Reduce up to 15%
using S8 Reducer. Apply medium-wet coats while maintaining
a gun distance of 12 to 14 inches. Spray tip size
should be: .013 to .017, HVLP cup pressure: 6 to 8 psi.

To get the cheap HVLP HF guns to spray nice the paint should be close to the consistancy of milk. This will cover and not clog the gun. About 3 parts paint to one part reducer.

Biggest part now is that Chassis Saver reccomends a spray tip size
from .013 to .017, & HVLP cup pressure between 6 to 8 psi; & the guns have 1.7mm spray nozzles & run on 50 to 80 psi & the guy at Harbor Freight was clueless as to me asking for different spray tips & where to get them.
So can i get some feedback from u guys on "whats next" & where to get this stuff?? In the meantime ill hit up lowes & see if i do better there.
Thanks!!
