I am working on turning my rig into a sleeper expedition rig. I live in an area where if I leave this stuff on a roof rack it will walk away before I know it. I was looking at the fabrication forum and saw where guys were using dog dividers to strap shovels and hatchets to. When we go camping me and my wife are pretty short so we can easily sleep in the back so I need to be able to still fold the rear seats down. I was wondering if anyone has made rear window cage or rack to strap stuff to but still maintain space on the floor of the cargo area?

How much weight have you been able to hang off it? Does it rattle?

 

I don't know if it rattles. I am deaf.

I haven't hung anything on it except for my portable work light and tape measure. Lol.

 

I had seen a blazer at the jy that had they and was goin to snag them and use them on the jeep looked like a cool idea. I've seen one jeep with them so far driving around here but they have it on the inside and outside and on the rear doors too, but just on the outside.
