Rear Vibes
I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee with just under 300,000 MI. I did a complete rebuild on everything, and I mean everything except the rear axle and front axle. Since the rebuild she has 2,500 MI.The issue I'm having while driving is if I take my foot off the accelerator as if to slow down or Coast I will start getting vibration in the rear of the vehicle. If I push on the accelerator just a little bit not enough to actually speed up the vibration goes away, if I take my foot off the accelerator again the vibration returns. I have removed the front drive shaft and driven the vehicle with no difference. I am thinking it is in the transfer case which has the SYE kit in it from Rough Country, or in the rear differential. My main issue is I am 2000 miles away from home and my shop, sitting in a RV campground limited tools and no place to work. And before anybody asks all the basic troubleshooting has been done, wheels are aligned tires are balanced. Any thoughts?

Check your rear pinion angle. An incorrect angle after an SYE install causes exactly this vibration on coast. The other likely cause is a binding U-joint in the rear driveshaft.
