What are some of the pros and cons of this one? They look like a cool way to kinda ease into the rear tire carrier world! Aren't they right around 100 bucks?

this is the hitch based ones. im not a fan since it take up the reciver and thats where my recovery shackle is mounted
http://www.detoursusa.com/knucklebone.php

this is the one i want. it uses the factory bumper skin but has a great tie-in setup and adds recovery points. i like it most cause it looks almost factory and its not a million$

sad part it sales are suspended on it right now so idk if theyre still gonna make it or not..ill find out around tax time i guess since that was what i was gonna get with it

I think the guy is just really backed up on them. People seem to really like them.

I can see why..they are sweet. Uses the factory bumper, offsets the tire..that's exactly what I'm looking for. A good solid simple design.

According to his facebook page a supplier of some critical parts are not delivering. Until he finds a new supplier he has stop taking orders on them.

Yeah it's the one I want too!

I love it. plus it ties into the uni body realy well. It looks like it could take a good yank

I hope he's got a better supplier by the time taxes roll in cause its on the top of my refund list

I'll toss my one off up there it's 3/16 rec tube on the main bumper all tig welded and sealed ready to plumb for air. Tied into the uni body has a hitch reciver and d rings 2 5 gallon gas cans and can hold a far larger tire than I will ever need Name: null-25.jpg

I bought this one for $600 shipped the best deal I found anywhere and quality and powder coating great. The bumper has a built-in Hi-Lift Jack carrier, antenna mounting, receiver hitch, D-Ring mounts all included no extra charge. It does use all the hitch mounting holes to mount it as well as the bumper mounts. It's rock solid and the swing out has a very large bering that has 2 zerks for it.

I have nothing to do with this company but he makes a great product for our XJ's a a reasonable cost I thought.

Update this bumper is no longer for sale he was selling them to cheap for sure.

I wish 6-8 week time! I ordered mine in Sept and still don't have it. I get it though. Trying to be as patient as possible but it's getting harder by the day!!

In Nov, Mark told me "aprox 6 weeks". Maybe his aprox is a bit different than us impatient XJ owners.

Have you contacted him to get a status?
