Default Rear sways after shackle install

I installed 2 inch lift shackles on my 98 cherokee, and now when I drive it the rear end feels loose and sways/rocks while going down the street. I have checked all the bolts to make sure they are tight. I also still have the factory length shocks on it, but plan on replacing them soon.

Could be bad shocks, worn out leaf springs,or both. What brand shackles?

The shocks and leaf springs were replaced less then 5000 miles ago, and I'm not sure my brother gave then to me when he got out of the Cherokee game.

If the shackle bolts are torqued down tight, movement of shackle will be restricted. Two inch lift shackles on old stock springs can present numerous issues.

You will have noticeable sway going from stock shackles. Shouldn't be unsettling, just noticeable.

I'm looking at getting the zone 3 inch leaf and tossing the 2 inch shackles.
