put some air shocks in the back...then you can add or remove pressure depending on how much weight you have back there.

Nice find TOM95YJ.
Thanks, Alcan has been around for years I had their springs on my YJ they rode and flexed great, I suprised the hell out of TJ owners on an RTI ramp with my SUA YJ it would score 860-870 all day long When I go LA on my XJ I am considering set of alcan's with orbital eyes for the rear of the XJ keeping the spring height to about 3.5" using a ubolt eliminator on the rear from TNT customs (1" lift ) and 1" shackle for a total of 5.5" and a getting 5.5" Deaver coils for the front the longarm will be a 3 link using all Heim joints

Update:

I thought I'd report back with how my plans worked out. My setup ended up with

Front:
3.5" RE coils. These net about 3.75" with my Smittybilt bumper and XRC-8 winch, and ride very well with the extra weight.

Rear:
OME CS034RB leaves + OME JCXL extra leaf
RE 1.5" lift shackles
HD off road shackle relocation brackets

I'm very happy with the results, which are a very good ride on road, and great articulation off road. My only complaint is that the rear isn't quite stiff enough to put up with as much weight as I'd like to put back there (see OP), so I have another set of JXCL extra leaves to add to the pack. Those OME springs are very flexy and have a huge range of motion with the correct shackle angle. The whole rear setup started out at about 5.5" lift and settled to about 4.5" unloaded.

I was surprised that the OME leafs ride almost flat with no weight in the back, and tend to slightly invert when flexed out. From the info I've been able to find, this seems to be normal for OME leaves. I've taken them on several wheeling trips and have seen no ill effects from the inversion.

Anyway, to anyone looking for an OME setup, I definitely recommend this setup.
