If you're talking about the shock to rubber band conversion, its simple. Remove your shocks and make a mount on the body and a mount on the axle, along with a third big mount running under the axle. Put one BIG rubber band thats max stretching distance is even with the max droop your axle has (distance from top axle mount to body mount when suspension is maxed out), and connect it to the body and upper axle mount. Now get a EVEN LARGER rubber band with a max stretching distance even to the max stuff of your axles (distance from lower axle mount to lower extended off-body bar body mount), and connect the rubber band to those two mounts.

Now drive and enjoy!

Plan on replacing those rubber bands AT LEAST every 2 weeks, or every other trip if you wheel.

And for anyone that might take this seriously.. its not. Dont replace your shocks with rubber bands. Ever.

can you go into greater detail on the under axle mount? how big does it have to be because I don't want anything hanging to low. I was thinking about doing this conversion when I swap in my super 35

With pleasure. The lower under axle mount extends off the body to end right where the bottom of the axle will be at full downtravel (Note i didnt say mount off the unibody rails, the sheet metal of the floor is MUCH stronger so i recommend using that as a starting point for making your mount. I also recommend making it single shear on both sides for added flex) The mount is gonna hang a little low and scrubbed the ground on mine a little with normal on road driving, but if you wheel hard you wont notice.

And remember, the stronger the rubber band on the lower mount is than the other rubber band the more lift you'll get!

sweet thanks for the info will there be any clearance issues with the bands and my sway bars? I definitely can't remove the rear because I inboarded my leafs to mount underneath the frame for added lift. and I cant remove the front because it's hiding my death wobble

It will rub the sway bars, but theres a good fix! Just run the rubber bands around the sway bars where they pass them 4-5 times and remount it. It'll strengthen the sway bars AND it'll give you EVEN MORE lift!! So win/win in my book.

I wouldnt take off the rear swaybar anyways. I heard it'll give you rear death wobble.
