I can't still conceive that the quality of 95 96 jeep cherokees for domestic market is so low that even they don't come with a back seat headrest. the same product for international markets (well mostly) includes not only back seat headrests, but also much more options
I am looking for a rear seat setup I can swap in that has head rests. We currently keep our kids in car seats in the old XJ cause there is no head support if there was an accident and we want to reduce the possibility of whiplash...
Is there anything that is an easy and direct bolt in. ZJ, WJ? What years are a ZJ or WJ?
Thanks.
This just sounds odd....if the kids are big enough to need head supports for whiplash, they are WAY too big to be in a car seat.
Maybe I'm missing something here ?? Most older cars don't have headrests in the back seats...why should the cherokee be any different ?

I have the same issue. My boys are in backless booster seats in our other cars but in large car seats in our XJ. I have to use large car seats in my jeep to give whiplash protection because with the backless booster their head and neck are higher than the seat back.
