Rear quarter panel repair. Custom, stock, or other?
Bought a new play toy and can't decide how I want to fix this ugly mess.
I can either..
A. Replace the quarter with a new panel and have it painted
B. Straighten it out the best I can and throw some armor over it (was thinking the JCR quarter armor with tailight boxes)
Or
C. Make some armor out of the 10g i've got laying around and see what I can make of it.
This going doesn't have to be perfect, but I am wanting to fix it to be pretty nice if I can. They way I see it the JCR armor with the boxes will cover all that up and I can just comp cut the lower quarter that it doesn't cover. But idk. Not all my plans work out how they should. Any input? I'm open to suggestions on alternative solutions.

Here's some examples of the JCR armor I'm referring to. Would rather make this myself as simple as it is but it would be damn near impossible to match the body lines and run up that close to the window with the tools I have. (which would cover ALL the damage)

Its worth the money to have the boxes integrated. I like the dirtbound design and it is cheaper but I want the boxes integrated. Plus the JCR stuff is made from 3/8

The price doesn't bother me as much as long as the outcome is better. I'm starting to lean more towards the jcr stuff just for the fact that once it's bolted up I could just clean cut the panels under it without even doing a comp cut.. would make things much simpler.
Did get to looking at the dirtbound diy bumpers on their site tho.. im really digging the front and rears they have as well as the price

Looks alot worse than it actually is. Besides that rear quarter and the drivers door the rest of the paint is flawless. Front looks bad but the frame tails aren't even bent. I've had it up to 70 on my road and it tracks straight down the road. Plus for what I've got in it it's not too much of a lost cause.

That thing is going to be a pain in the butt. I have trouble getting some aftermarket parts to fit my straight frame and body never wrecked jeep I can't imagine how hard it'll be to get stuff to fit that. The roof is part of the cherokee's body and roof is part of its structure so it being bent so badly is compromising its structural integrity. Only thing I would do is part it out or trailer it to trails. If the corner and roof are that bad I'm sure the rear frame is screwed up, and the leaf spring is probably bent on that side. That's definitely a piece you got there.

Lord you guys are too scared of a little body damage. Frame rail is fine and the leaf springs arent bent even the slightest. Hell the hatch even open and closes fine. I could replace that quarter panel and you'd never even know it was hit, but looks don't matter that much to me so I'm just gonna cover the mess up.
Looks like I'm gonna go with the OR FAB quarter guards without the rail because I found them new and powder coated for $240. Can't beat that for how beefy they are. In comparison it seems they're much thicker than armor offered by anyone else being 3/16 as opposed to 10 gauge or 1/8 by everyone else.
Plus they're ALOT cheaper.

Well I would at least take it to a frame shop to have it straightened or else that armor is never going to go on. You can tell the rear is bent down at least an inch
