Need rear leaf spring setup advice, Im running RE 4.5in springs up front with cav fabs lowers and upper control arms. I got RC relocation boxes in the rear, im running 2in chevy lowering shackles/ XJ lift shackles. and Up country leaf springs. what i want to do, which is now a little difficult cause of the boxes. I want to figure out a spring i can run to run a shorter shackle, to keep me at my 4.5 in lift. But i need to find springs that will work with the shorter shackle for a better shackle angle and my boxes. Do anyone have any ideals? i was thinking of the 2in OME leafs with a 1in lift shackle, or getting 3.5in RE leafs and trying to find a shackle thats slightly longer then stock one, so i can set the hight where i need to and shackle angle. cause the boxes already give a 1.25in life alone. and i can play with the angle in the notches to keep me at 4.5in. But not shure if there are any other leafs i can use. Yes i have searched and didnt find any answers for 4.5in of lift, every thing i found was 5in and over. not what im looking for

 

RE 3.5" springs and MJ shackles (3/4" longer than XJ)?

I'd go for the OME leafs with a lift shackle.

 

what about rustys 3.5in rear leafs and his 0.75 in lift shackle. i also saw zone has probably the shorest boomerang shackle i could find. they also got 3in lift leaf springs as well. as long as i can find the right leafs to get, i can adjust the height with the shackle angle on the boxes.
