You need shackle relocators, other than longer springs this is the only real fix. Check out this link.

I have the same lift but mine doesn't make a thud when I hit bumps. When i turn right or left it makes a creeking sound and sometimes also makes a poping noise. The noise is random though which is why it's confusing. I will make these noises one week but the next week it disapears. But it's doing it again now and I have been trying to find out where its coming from for days but no clue. Anyone have suggestions or ideas?

One of ther biggest mistakes people make when doing these lifts is they neglect to realize those bushing in their stock shackles are almost always shot to hell. When I bought my lift the vendor I bought it from said i didn't have to but he stongly suiggested replacing the shackle bushings. I have done an RC4.5 install and had no issues using stock shackles and his rig doesn't thud. Infact his rear leaf pack was almost identical to my RE 3.5 packs jsut a very slight difference in arch and maybe .5" of added lift over mine and looks less then that after settling.

If it's jstu when making turns my quess is ball joint, ujoint, TRE or something in the steering box.

No it's defiently coming from the rear end. It almost feels like my u bolts are loose and allowing my axle to shift back and forth on my leaf pack but I already checked them all and there tight. It's confusing because there isn't much to check in the rear end that I have already tightened over and over but the problem still exists.

I assume you check the ubolts, all the bolts that are on the front leaf mounts and the rear along with the upper on the shackles? Also could be that the bushings on the shackles are toast causing them to move around. Remember when you do a lift if starts putting stress in areas it didn't before. Also may check the drive shaft ujoints and straps. Also see how much movement you have on the slip yoke at the t-case. I would be checking everything. If you didn't replace the shackle bushings and sleeve I'd likely start there. You can either get replacement bushings or shackles. I personally bought a set of OEM replacement crown shackles. I found trying to remove the bushings to be a major pain in the rear end.I thnk the crown ones at quadratec was like $15 a piece.

Yes as I stated previously I checked all the u bolts first and all mounting points are tight. This lift is only a year old and purchased the entire set up that included new shackles/bushings. So I can't really seeing them being the issue. Also I recently swaped out my gears and when I did so I checked the ujoints and straps which rules that possibility out. I still have the sway bar on though, for some reason I could see that being the problem. I always wanted to remove it but I tow a trailer a lot and have been sceptical on how the jeep would handle without it while towing. Another thing that I have noticed is that the straps that hold my leaf pack together looks like they are getting loose. Do you guys think it would be possible that my leafs are sliding back and forth on each other???

Yes they bolt into the stock shackel location.
They also let you adjust the shackel angle for a mutch better ride.

Hey I had the same problem. I never did figure it out. I put bar pin eliminators in cause to be honest there isn't a whole lot of things it could be but they didn't change it and then one day it went away unless I hit a big dip fast. I think it is the bushings grabbing. I would love to know what RC tells you cause I'm not sure if I should be worried even though it went away. I might switch out all my rear bushing.
