Rear end question
I want to put a locker in my dana 44 that has 3.55 gears and i found a locker that was in a dana 44, but it had 4.11 gears. Will it work? Are the case sizes different?

depends what kind of locker.
if it's just a lunchbox locker, then yes.
if it's a full case locker like a detroit, then i don't think so. i believe the break for cases is 3.73 or 3.90 (depending on the axle).

Carrier brake is 3.73 and down and 3.90 and up so if it's full case it won't work with your 3.55s unless the 4.11s are thick cut gears. Lunchbox will work in any open carrier.
