Default Rear end groaning 98

On my 98 xj when I've been driving for a while the rear end makes loud groaning noises while turning, and it gets louder when I apply the gas. It has a 3 inch lift with 32's and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and has any fixes.

Could be a lot of things... Axle shaft bearing, u joint, or the gears in the diff going south. Sounds more like the shaft bearing though.

Either an axle bearing or a pinion bearing

If it is a D-35 this would be a good time to upgrade to a Chy 8.25
