Rear brake lines, HELP

Ok so I just got back from deployment so I've been working on the Jeep trying to tie up the loose ends. So I bought extended braided lines and I went to put them on and my stock line connections are so corroded. I sprayed it with PB and all that. When I tried to take it off it was so corroded it just flaked off, the metal seems really soft and almost strips. So I need some input on how to deal with it. Thanks

Brake line by the foot at oreilley, autozone etc.. or various lengths with fittings already on and double flared for ya. If you go that route, measure what you want to replace and go the next size longer on the pre-assembled lines. It's easy to put a few bends in to shorten 'em.

Ok thanks, what about getting the line off the axle where it splits to the drums? It doesnt look like it twists off, I just dont want to break something and land myself with more issues

are you talking about the flex line at the frame end, or the other end on the axle tube.
the flex line will unthread at the frame clip/hard line and is attached to the brake block on the axle tube, that part doesn't thread off, only the hard lines to each wheel cylinder threads out of the block.
as mentioned above, unscrew the breather line to remove the block end.

that's a tough one. worst case is the line breaks, then you may have to replace that whole piece of hard line, about 8 feet long from the master to the flex line. not a hard job, dealer has the oem line, or you can bend your own from a jobber.
start soaking it with some pb blaster or liquid wrench for the next couple of days. spray it as often as you can.
it's also nice to have a set of line wrenches for these as those flare nuts are soft and strip very easily.

yeah I have been trying with line wrenches I just dont know if its salvageable, I tried breaking it loose but its so corroded and soft it just started to strip

I just replaced mine all the way from the master. Mine broke wayyy to easy when replacing the stock flex hose. So it was a no brainer for me.

Use some vise-grips and replace the lines. If they're that rusted on the outside you can surely bet they are rusted inside too.
