they weren't that bad when i checked them however even with the high shipping price they are still cheaper.

 

I dont know why you just wont let it go. Its like you work for RockAuto or youre stalking me. RockAuto wants $235.43 for those 2 leafs shipped to me ($65.65 shipping) and Quadratec wants $215.93 for leafs AND bushings ($25.99 shipping). The RockAuto ones dont say bushing are included, but even if they are thats still $20 more I have to pay to buy from them. Im pretty sure that makes them more expensive for me. People need to shop around because shipping prices do vary, and RockAuto ships from numerous locations even on one order, so they put the screws to you in shipping. And if one company can ship 2 leafs for $25.99, so cant another. Thats why I refuse to buy from RockAuto unless I absolutely have to, and its only 1 item and they are FAR cheaper than anywhere else.

 

there shipping really isn't outrageous for the weight and Dorman lists the leafs as coming with bushings. least you could do is compare apples to apples rockauto sells the HD leafs not the standard OE ones which are in fact cheaper on quadratec.

 

Guy, Im not comparing anything. Youre the one who started in on me the other day when I posted a list of parts I purchased for my suspension and how much they were. Then you started in on how I was wrong and it wasnt that much and you havent let up since. I posted what I purchased from where and how much it was, in detail and since then youve been trying to tell me Im wrong. Let it go, youre wrong.

 

you have posted ina couple threads now that the only right way is to order the OEM leafs through quadratec i was pointing out there are other cheaper options for the HD leafs. if you don't like that good for you. you seem to be ok dropping excessive amounts of money for a simple leaf swap again good for you all i did was point out it could be done for roughly half what you spent. i am sure there are plenty of people on here that would prefer to drop $200 vs $400.

 

See, again with comparing the different stuff. Its NOT me, its YOU! I did pay roughly $400, but it was for a LOT more than just leafs. I even said in another post that you can do it for less than $200 for just leafs but you just wont let it go. Post whatever you want on the subject, there is a ton of sites, prices and information out there for anyone to find. Im done going back and forth you with. For some reason you just want to be argumentative.

 

air shocks are not meant to be used to fixed sagging suspention. they are ment to prevent sag when ur suspention is under load. so if u air ur shocks up with no load you will get a very ruff ride. ur best best is like said above getting new leafs from where ever u chose to spend your money at. but for the price yall are talking about just buying rear leafs u can almost buy a 3in lift? if your into that kinda thing.
