You will need a drill bit....5/16 or something to make way for a bigger axle side mount bolt. I noticed the PDF for the 1600 and 1660 are actually backward. You need to drill for the 1660 not the 1600.

****IMPORTANT*** I first got the RE1600 but found i was totally unable to remove the stock track bar from the stock mount. That thing was IN THERE. Even tried drilling it out. So i had to get the 1660 and 1665. Obviously my DD xj was down until the parts arrived. Something to consider.

1665 mount uses the stock bolts and nuts. Added feature is that the 1660 and 1665 are built solid. Super sturdy.

I'm running a 1600 track bar with a double sheer bracket. The bracket fit but I had to drill out the bolt holes on the bracket to use the supplied bolt.

I'm thinking about doing this. But you could of bought a 1/2" bolt and the correct misalignment spacers off ruff stuff and no drilling to the bracket.

I could have spent more money, waited a few days for shipping and then i could have installed it, or I could have spent 5 minutes reaming two holes out and using the misalignment spacers and bolt I had which I did. I need my jeep every day so I can't afford to have it down to wait for parts.

I have run both RE1600 and 1660HD. The 1600 I ran with a modified stock mount in double shear. 1660HD, run with the RE TB bracket and brace.
Either way, I would go with the RE bracket.
Otherwise, consider the IRO DS TB/mount. That only runs about 200$ shipped, IIRC.
