Hey all. I’m looking at winter projects for my 95. I’d like to re gear from the 3.55 as I have 285/75 tires. With the year and manual transmission I believe I have the Dana 35 rear. From what I gather, 4.10 is close to what Need for the upgrade. Any tips, advice and head shaking regarding how to and what manufactures are best, would be appreciated.

After looking it over, I believe I got lucky and have the 8.25 . Should this be as simple as finding a 4.56 kit and doing the work?

4.56 gears and a master install kit for both axles and you will need a 3.73 and up carrier for the Dana 30, a couple extra front carrier and pinon bearings to make setup bearings out of makes it much easier.

I went with USA standard gears the front whined a little bit untill it got broken in I haven't had any issues since, Revolution gears are also popular. I got my stuff from Rons Machining Service. https://www.ronsmachiningservice.net/front-rear-18/
