Default Rancho Stabilizer Mounting Stud

Well I'm trying to get my steering together new drag link and Rancho steering stabilizer but shouldn't this torque down flush with the drag link?

It's a tapered stud like a tie rod end. I'm not suprised it doesn't go all the way in. Torque it to spend and use the cotter pin.

Cool thanks that's what I was kind of thinking it's just a steering stabilizer torque it to spec and call it good
