Default race/High performance suspension setups?

Looking for good suspensions that can handle some dessert style running, and good handling/speed control on pavement, i recently got a 92 Xj, and i wanted to build kind of a "**** hit the fan/Zombies" bug out jeep, i want to be able to get around quick, on the streets and on gravel roads and some high speed dessert stuff, anything could happen during an emergency, including the possibility that the jeep could leave the ground, in that case i would not want that to be the end of it, i want it to handle it (although i want it to be able to do it does not mean i plan on doing it, and i understand the suspension could be expensive or lots of custom work, im fine with that, its a project im fine with it going slow, i just want some help, a jump start per say, any input would be nice! And thanks in advance

Well if it were me I would probably start with an OME kit. I've got one myself and they are very high quality. Might want to upgrade your trackbar as well as something like a 1 ton steering setup.

you really gotta search. there's plenty of XJ go-fast information out there. or at least enough for you to come up with some better questions and a starting point. such as, what's your budget

jeepspeed has to use off the shelf kits per rules depending on class.

prepare to open your wallet for sure. deaver leaf springs alone cost over $800 for the pair, and the coils over $300. a good set of shocks will run you close to or over a grand. now get a long arm kit, and a few other odds and ends like bumpstops and shackles and whatever, and youre already in deeper than most people are into their entire cherokee. keep in mind deaver coils only come in 5.5" and the G9 packs are 4.5" and need longer shackles.

i'm running deaver coils and leaves, a rock krawler 4 link long arm kit, and custom valved bilstein 9100 shocks.... 11" travel 2.5 remote resi front, and 13" travel 2.0 remote resi rear. my jeep blow my mind doing the amount of mild prerunning i've attempted and the thing is barely a race truck. if you have any questions let me know.

Have you gone through the floor in the rear? I would love to do that with a cage and 16" of travel. Lots of money and its slow.

Actually, they just built the general tire jeepspeed GC so it is a good place to start.
