Quick question (picture)
I was told my CB antenna had to be grounded. Is there any way to tell if this is grounded? He said if I it is not then it will ruin my radio.

The antenna mount needs to be grounded. There should be a good metal to metal contact between the mount and the body of the jeep. Some guys like to use an additional wire to ground the mount to the body.

"Grounded" means it carries the negative charge from the battery. The chassis, body, and all metal parts touching that are "grounded." If you have paint in between the parts, it may not conduct electricity as you need it to.
