[QUOTE=RyanJon;2918490]Been looking at the $750 Rusty's kit that comes with LCAs and UCAs.. Would that be a better option for me? I believe it comes with a track bar as well.[/QUOT
I run all Rustys HD components on my XJ and have for 2 yrs. have never had one single issue period with anything. I have saw this repeated before but never any photos of anything ever to back it up, I have asked for examples of it several times no answers. You can have a problem with any vendor it happens but when someone repeats something they have no firsthand knowledge it irritates me.
Adj. U/LCA's are very desirable and a must when using higher lifts, an Adj Track Bar is necessary to center up the differential.

I'm looking at about $3,200 between parts, tires, and wheels.. No money invested in how it looks aesthetically.
Aesthetically, I'll add piece by piece.. Getting the more functional things, first. Since I'm only allowing myself an initial investment of 5k.. That leaves me with $1,800. I'll probably finish off putting back together the interior.. Get some husky or weather tech front/rear/cargo liners.. Front/Rear bumpers.. Cargo rack for the roof.. And some cheapo auxiliary lights till I save up some spare change to get some KCs or PIAAs.. And a few other goodies. Already have an extinguisher, a reliable tool kit, full blown cb/ham/2m/trunk scanner radio setup, first aid kit, and a handful of other things.
Can't wait to get started!

Ryan this year I spent another $3600 with him after running his parts for over a year if that tells you anything and I check things out fairly well before any purchases. I do buy from quite a few other vendors also too many in fact all for the bottom less pit, my XJ but oh well.
In fact next spring I think that I'm going to upgrade to his long arm kit as well just to post about of his products I'm running. Don't misunderstand me I'm not a cheerleader for anyone but do post positive as well as negative comments on anything I have and do as well as problems with a vendor. The only thing about Rustys can be the amount they charge for shipping at times that I have had any issues with.

Lol.I'm looking forward to starting this project. I'll have 2 going.. As I'm working on getting my fiancees 2000 Explorer Sport going. That's another project in its own right. Something is amiss with it that is causing it to turn over, but not fire. No power at the fuel rails but there is pressure if I open the valve. Fuel pump is reading over 60 psi. Pulling my hair out with it.. And I'm thinking the PCM is toast. What a project. It had spark a year ago when we parked it.. And were able to get it running off of ether when we'd spray into the air box.. Now, no spark either. A shame, because the thing ran and drove great. She's getting a 2-3 inch lift on that with 31's. Camshaft sensor, crank sensor, plugs and wires, coil pack, fuel pump.. All changed.. Along with checking various fuses and Explorer-related problems that could cause it not to start. Only have a handful of other things to try before it gets a new PCM and goes to the dealer to get reprogrammed.

It is funny. I have heard the same thing over and over again, that Rusty's is not quality, but no proof. That being said I was scared to try it. I am running a 3.5" RE lift with Bilstein shocks. Good quality, but did not come with everything that I would like such as adj U/LCA and adj track bar. bought separately.

Im not entirely sure, but he might be talking about the situation on youtube. The vid is called "cop car ramming the jeep" or something. The poster of the vid claimed to have had his track bar fail while on the road. He apparently lost control and flipped the TJ
