The XJ I bought came with ARB air lockers. It has an onboard ARB compressor under the hood. I need to connect the rear locker because it came unconnected for some reason when I purchased the truck. While I'm doing that I want to add a T and a quick disconnect for a hose so I can have onboard air to fill my tires. The problem I am having is that I'm not 100% sure how you remove this nylon hose from the actuator fitting (the cube). They also look different. One of them has an orange plastic piece around it while one of them doesn't (pictured). I thought you pushed it in and it just released the hose but this doesn't seem to be the case. Before I put any elbow grease into this I want to be 110% sure I am trying to remove it the correct way. I can't afford to break anything right now. Does anyone know for sure how you take out these blue nylon hoses? I've included a picture for reference. I've watched installation videos and I've looked on the ARB website. I've even searched the web with the number on the orange piece itself. Nothing useful came up.
Glad you got it figured out. Parts available for repair?
Yeah, well not repair, but you can buy the fittings for $7 each. Talked to a manager at ARB and they gave me the part #. Going to install a fitting for a quick disconnect air hose too.
