Default Question about bumper fitments

I found a bumper I really like but it is for a 87-06 wrangler. Is there a way to get it to fit on my 98 Cherokee with little to no fab work.

Pretty sure the mounts are different. Fab will be required. To me, nore then what its worth considering there are plenty of bumpers out there for the xj that bolt right up.

I mainly like the price on that on that mainly cause it’s 200 dollars. Do you know of any that fit for a Cherokee around that price? If so any help would be great with finding one.

wrangler bumpers are usually cheaper. Most are "stubby" and don't have as much metal as full cherokee ones. Perhaps search "jeep Cherokee stubby front bumpers"...i know th there are some out there.

You won't find a new aftermarket bumper for a xj for 200.Most of the cheapest ones are 400 to 500 range plus shipping.

Something tells me it'll look like dogsheet on an XJ. Dirtbound sells a stubby bumper for $200.
