Hey wondering what most ppl do to prep their xj for installing upper quarter panel armor. I want to do a clean job. What sprays after drilling the body to prevent rust? Do you seal the armor with a silicone or epoxy of some sort?
Any other tips would be coo

Dont seal the armor. When i did mine I drilled all the holes, cleaned it then sprayed white paint on the rough metal just to prevent it from rusting. it matched my white jeep just fine. Then i bolted it on.
I suggest getting stainless hardware or painting the alan head screws you get. Mine rusted a couple weeks after i bolted them on. I just painted them while they were on the jeep to get rid of the rusty bolt look lol.
