I put a roof rack on my comanche. I needed it to get the tire out of the bed when I go fishing. This is a beach truck so I wasnt worried about how top heavy it made it. I also wanted to do it cause I have never seen it done before.

The dementions I needed matched up perfectly with a EZ golf Cart Roof rack, Except I had to turn it sideways. Then I used JCRS roof rack mounts and made a frame to attach it all. Well this is it. It looks goofy... but its growing on me.

















and tonight i put my other light bar on the bumper

That actually doesn't look half bad. It's look A LOT better if you'd take those shackles off the back though...

 

X2 on the shackles. Too much lift.
I like the design & fab work but that's a lot of wind drag for a guy with a bed to put all your crap in.

I can build a trailer, but why? I don't need one.

Makes me want a rack for my manche. It don't need it but I love the look.

 

like it but I dont like the big oval wing ish nut for the tire, to me a big eye sore. would have made it a low profile wing nut

Pretty cool. Did you see the MJ on comanche club with the short OEM roof rack? The harbor freight hitch basket is popular too.
