If that's what you want to do by all means it's your jeep. But that cause an over heat issue, by not regulating the flow out of the water pump the coolant will not have enough time in the radiator to cool off. The better thing to do would be to stick the thermostat in the open position so it would flow all the time but control the flow giving the coolant time to cool off before flowing out of the radiator.

It's just a thought. I did everything cherokeeforum and naxja told me to do, spent a bunch of time and money replacing every part. Still overheated all the time which is just my luck
and of course don't just go pulling t-stats thinking it'll solve your problem. take all the proper first steps (flush, fan shrouds, check clutch, make sure your sensor actually works, etc.)
