I retrofitted a set of Morimoto Mini Bi-Xenon D2S Projectors into a cheap ebay H4 housing. The new headlights I retro'd are a little longer than the stock sealed beams so I had to do some trimming on the headlight buckets.
I tried putting the headlights back in place on my XJ and they're still not fitting. The Adjustment screws aren't anywhere near long enough and the plastic nuts they screw into keep falling out. I thought about cutting holes in my header panel support, but my hole saw doesn't want to cut through the metal.


My question is; is there any way I can mount them using something other than the stock headlight aim screws and plastic nuts? Also, can I go about doing this without cutting into my header panel support? I want to get these things in permanent but also, I want to take the easiest route possible. What should I do?
