Yes you are correct and most likely the route I will take eventually, I am just looking for a midseason quick fix, which a full proper relocation will have to wait til winter.

I dont think a booster can be manipulated via fabrication. I think the booster size relates to brake size and type. Im on my first jeep and noticed its lack of size compared to the muscle cars I used to wrench on.

I mean anything is possible, but no I don't plan to manipulate it as much as just disable it while leaving the rest of the brake system intact.

Fred Flintstone, you don't need any brakes. Just drag your feet. REALLY? I think everyone is offering good advice.

Im sure the master will bolt right up but again my experience is with 60s and 70s cars. I know firewalls are not different between power and non power brake vehicles. Might be worth an exploratory.

Its not about not having brakes its about removing the vacuum assistance and being manual brakes.

Yessir. I have an extremely good braking system. Like to the point that I'd put it up against a lot of very high end cars just to find something comparable

Okay, this is killing me. Unless you can produce 800+lbs of force using your legs on an instant's notice, no booster-less brake system will stop an SUV, weight-reduction regardless. I had a vacuum line come off my XJ's booster once, scariest thing I have ever ****ing experienced, and the only reason I managed to stop is I stood on the brake pedal, Literally stood up on the ****ing pedal, and downshifted with the transmission.

I, along with everyone else here, don't give two ****s on how good the rest of your system is. The booster is the second most important part of a good system. Removing it, is completely ****ing retarded and suicidal. Not just for yourself, but for everyone within a mile of your Jeep.

Get off you high ****ing horse, relocate the battery and delete some non-essential things like a sane person, and show some regard for other living beings. People who think like you absolutely **** me the **** off.

Ive had to stand on the pedal to get stopped with assisted. Manual brakes work you just have to know how to use them. Im 33 and learned to drive in a manual brake manual steering 3 on the tree. Its all in the drivers habits

^agreed. #haters #unskilled.

IF there was anything else in my bay, it would still be irrelevant. This is not a let's move some stuff outta the bay for looks, it's for clearance. There isn't anything else in the bay, intake/ac/emissions/fan etc. But even if there was, that wouldn't change the fact that the booster is in my way

What are you trying to install that make the booster in the way?

Get mad brah. First off if you had the intelligence of a first grader you wouldn't have to resort to swearing, and using words like "retarded" because expressing your thoughts without them is something that would be doable.

And I'd take riding my high horse over a junk 40 year old Pony any day.
