Default Postal Jeep Dana 44

I have a guy that has a Dana44 in a postal Jeep and was wondering if it is the same width as an XJ. I will not be able to go til this weekend to check it out and wanted to know before hand. Thanks

The best info I can find so far through a Google search is that the DJ has a track width of roughly 52 inches. The XJ has a track width of 58.

Thanks, I thought that it as smaller but didnt know how much. Plus I am not sure really what kind of Jeep it is in the first place. This is coming from a friend that knows a guy.

The old postal Jeeps are a DJ with the most common one being the DJ5. The DJ5A started production in 1967 and ended production with the DJ5M in 1984. It is basically a 2 wheel drive version of the CJ5.
