hey there my xj friends......

well just got back from the desert and had a blast.

but.....i have had thins popping/clunkung noise ever since i got the jeep 2 months ago. well it got worse while out in the desert but when in 4 hi or low its not as bad.

on the way home i put it back in 2wd and it poped and clunked. all of the sudden the engine revs like i put it in nuteral the pop clunk and kept going. did that twice.

i pulled over and put it in 4 hi and it wen away.....

so i think its something in the t-case or the rear axle/locker splines are slipping....o and its got a pos lock right in the dana 35....

what r your guys thoughts? any input would be great.....puling axles tomorrow.
